IEC - Indiana Embroidery Conference

IEC was my teaching debut. I had never taught anything before. But a friend told me we "needed" to do this, so I went along. At first, I taught generic digitizing. Then I offered to teach Embird. I taught Editor and then Betty put me on Studio with about 30 days notice. But I think all went well. I made lots of good friends and found a few new places to teach because of it. I really miss it. It was always like coming home.

I have sat under Peggy's tutelage many, many times at IEC. Her teaching method and manner is the best of anyone. She is very organized but does not rush through a topic. She waits for everyone to understand and welcomes questions. She is kind and FUN! I would never miss taking any class from her that I can get to, no matter the venue or price.

Since her main goal is that the students learn and understand Embird, she has spent countless hours after sessions doing one-on-one with students. She really loves to see the light bulbs come on!
